NextSpring

A reference, not a funnel

NextSpring answers one kind of question: what is the rule, where does it come from, and when did anyone last check. 33 countries across Caribbean, Central America, North America and South America, 15 topics, and a record of every time we changed our mind.

The rule that applies to you usually depends on your citizenship as much as your destination, so the site is modelled that way rather than written out as a guide per country: one general rule per topic, plus named exceptions tied to the origins they apply to.

We sell nothing. There is no consultation to book, no newsletter gate, and no partner taking a commission. Where a question genuinely needs a lawyer, the page says so instead of answering it.

If you find something wrong, the correction goes in the public record with your report named as what triggered it. No reader has had to do that yet; the corrections on record so far are ones we found ourselves, and they are on the updates page.
