Requirements
- For direct foreign investment: a communication from the Banco de la República's international exchange department confirming the investment is registered in your name, for more than 650 current monthly minimum wages at the date of application
- For property: a certificate of title showing the property is held exclusively in your own name, worth at least 350 current monthly minimum wages at the date of application, plus the central bank registration
- The investment or purchase must be maintained throughout the life of the visa
- Time on this visa counts towards the Resident (R) visa, at five years

In the case of Direct Foreign Investment, provide a communication issued by the International Exchange Department of the Banco de la República recording the direct foreign investment registered in your name, in an amount greater than six hundred and fifty (650) current monthly legal minimum wages at the date the application is submitted.
